The PP reducer concentric is mainly used to join two pipe sections or tube sections on the same axis. This is cone-shaped, and it is used when there is a shift in diameter between pipes. This is used mainly when there is a single diameter change or multiple diameter changes. PP Reducer Concentric is mainly used where there is vertically installed pipe work and at the discharge side of the pumps. Both pipes should have to share a common centerline or alignment in order to facilitate the fluid flow. This reducer concentric can be manufactured from rubber, stainless steel, carbon steel, steel alloy, titanium alloy, copper, nickel, cast iron, brass, and so on that have met the standards of the pipe industry.
PP Reducer Concentric is usually used for joining vertical pipes that need to be anchored for safety reasons. This is used for both the onshore and offshore operations of the oil and gas industry because there is a heavy volume of cargo transfer and vapours recovery. Both ends of the PP Reducer Concentric have unequal ends diameter in order to achieve its purpose of joining two pipes with different diameter. Its smaller ends are designed to connect to the smaller pipe, whereas the bigger ends are designed to connect to the bigger pipe. Joining of these ends can be done either by seamless irrigation or through welding.
